JS has been created for web and it cannot access to the disk for security reasons! Do you want to save file on the disk then you need to write a small class in C++ and interface it in QML.
hi all, anybody can help me? i want to write a text file in my directory ("MyDocs/Documents/"). how can i do this in JavaScript or QML? i coded my example project in QML. my javascript code: function writeFile(sData) { var fso = new fopen("Scripting.FileSystemObject").
I tried to do it using QML but it failed at run time with message "X Error: BadDamage (invalid Damage parameter) 153" I just wanted to show a simple message like "File saved successfully". Is there any other way to do it.
Thanks. I was looking exactly for this. What is scene() ? It says scene() is not declared in this scope. I saw the API declaration and it expects QGraphicsScene. I instantiated an object of type QGraphicsScene but at run time it says "scene has no scene manager".
In some cases, you need to clear the cookies (or the cache) from a (QML) WebView. In general, the WebView doesn't have persistent storage for cookies after the session ended, that is when you quit the application (a solution to implement persistent cookies is described here).
