So if you are interested in building an iPhone app, but you do not want to learn Objective-C and Cocoa, you do have options. On our Open Feedback Publishing System (OFPS) we have a title in development on Building iPhone Apps with HTML, CSS, and Javascript which you can get involved with and start learning and commenting.

Get involved and enjoy.

Even better -- or maybe, even-better-and-in-addition-to -- we're working with Jonathan, the author, to try and bring you extensive video lessons to go with the book. These will allow you to tackle iPhone development with a book in your lap, a video on your second monitor (you do have a second monitor, right?!?), and an iPhone charging on your desk.

Bring it on, right? :-) More details on the video coming on Twitter at @oreillyvideo.

There's also another great free resource:
our own Beth Robson is teaching a class on building iPhone apps: http://creativetechs...web-apps-wk-2/.
