The most easiest way to start the installation, after a finished download, is to select Launch File from the Download Manager. However, you might have cleaned the list in the Download Manager, so here are three other ways to start the installation process:

-Menu File -> Open File (Ctrl+O) and select the downloaded XPI
- Right-click on the downloaded XPI and select Open With -> SeaMonkey
- Double-click on the downloaded XPI

Preliminary steps for Updates

We sometimes have to add new or rename current preference settings for MultiZilla, and that is why you need to reinitialize your MultiZilla preferences with the following steps:

1)Quick Prefs Menu -> Preference Editor... (or type about:config in the location bar)
2) Enter multizilla.prefs.checked as filter
3) Double click on the preference (toggle it to false)

Clear to Launch

You are only seconds away from using our latest product:

4) Exit SeaMonkey (including QuickLaunch on Windows)
- Windows 9x/ME users will need to reboot
5) Start SeaMonkey (MultiZilla should now be available)
- you might need to startup twice

Introduction

MultiZilla normally installs without any problems, and we tried to make the installation process as convenient as possible, but sometimes you just might need a little further assistance.

Automatic helper page

The first thing we did was to write automatic helper pages, which load and highlights the error triggered by the installation process. Here's an example of probably the most occurring error on Unix oriented platforms.

Filing Bugs

We encourage you to file bug reports, because that will eventually lead to an even better product. One important note, file bugs here but not in any other Bugzilla database!

Our XPI files are unsigned, but also absolutely free of malicious code. We do respect your privacy, and the computer systems used to build MultiZilla are being checked every day, and updated whenever needed. Rest assured. You are in good hands here.

Note: All our source code can be checked online
