The Cumulative Learning Project:

Cumulative learning, closely related to metalearning and transfer of knowledge, studies learning systems that are capable of learning several tasks over a "lifetime". Several of these tasks might be related to each other, though they might involve different modalities and different environments. The agent must be able to recognize and take advantage of the relations between the tasks in order to learn faster/better, and thus produce rich, interesting behavior.
