The Super Absorbent. Super Comfortable. Super Safe. Super Sustainable. Super Loved Period Underwear.
The High Waisted Period. in Organic Cotton For Heavy Flows
Super absorbent. Built for heavy days.
Absorbs 9 tampons worth of flow or five pads.
Hi! I’m super-super-super absorbent and designed to handle the heaviest days of a period. I’m made of soft, comfy organic cotton and have a four-layer padded towel absorbency that holds your flow. I have a wicking layer on top, so I can absorb the blood super fast with no wetness. You will feel padding, but frankly, on those heavy days, feeling secure, safe, and leak proof is a pretty great feeling, alongside being so comfy and cozy. Warning: after you use me once, you will look at tampons and disposable pads and pretend you don’t know them. Be cold. They deserve it.
When to wear: on your heaviest days. Also great for postpartum and perimenopause.

How long will one pair of Period. last?
Everybody periods differently so it’s tough to be exact. Our average time is about 8 hours on a heavier flow day. Though some customers need to change after 3 to 4 hours, and others can go up to 14 hours (lucky them!). As your period gets lighter, one pair can take you through the day and night (just like regular underwear). But again, everybody Periods differently, so you need to take one cycle to figure out exactly how often you need to change. Start with a conservative estimate on your heavy days, and check in on your Period underwear after 4 hours. If you still feel good, give it another hour. Keep going until you figure out your limit. Here at Period, we find we need between 3 to 4 pairs on the first two heavy days, including evenings. And if you leak, please forgive us! Just this once. (Remember how many tampons you have forgiven). Treat the ‘leak’ as a gift and note the hour of your leakage. That is the best indicator of your ‘flow threshold’ how long the underwear will last for you.
Message from a Coral Reef: Hi! Thank you for using non disposable products. It may feel like a small gesture - but it’s not. I’m sick of getting tampons and pads getting caught up in my beautiful branches and you’re helping to keep that trash out of my home. Just one pair of Period means that 5 pads/9 tampons are never used or thrown away. Thank you! Next time you swim by me, stop and say hi.

Message from a turtle: Oh hello. When you're my age (110 years old), you've seen a lot of stuff. I hope I live to see a world where there's no more non-disposable garbage in the ocean like tampons and pads. Sometimes I feel pretty down about the whole situation. Then, I hear about people like you who are shifting behaviors and making a difference and I get that warm feeling (unusual for turtles) where I just know everything is going to be ok.

Message from a Star Fish: I wanted to tell you that on this rare instance, I’m not the star. You are. By wearing just one pair of Period, you’ve saved the world from 4 tampons that will take generations to decompose and let’s not get into pads. Thank you from the bottom of the ocean.
The High Waisted Period. in Microfiber For Medium Flows
For medium to light absorbency. Built for when your period is easing out of the heavy days. Also great for everyday pee leaks!
Absorbs up to 4 regular tampons worth of flow.
Hi. I’m the perfect pair of high-waisted for when your flow begins to lessen, or for birth control periods. What’s a birth control period!? Well, when you just don’t know what’s coming. I’ve got light padding so I’m great for bulky-phobes but you’ll be shocked at how absorbent I am. Not toxic shocked though! Phew. Let’s leave that to the tampons. I’m also great for periods that can’t quite end and for panty-liner lovers. I’m made from super soft brushed microfiber with an organic cotton gusset. I also bring a light mood with me. You’re welcome.
When to wear: medium days, light days, what the hell, everyday!

The Bikini Period. in Organic Cotton For Heavy Flows
Super absorbent, sleek style made for heavy days.
Absorbs 9 tampons worth of flow or five pads.
Yup. I’m for those days when your period has your foot down on the flow pedal. I have a little less fabric than the high-waisted, but with the same four-layer towel system I have just as much absorbency. My padding is designed to take whatever the flow throws, while making you feel extra secure and safe. Oh, did I also mention how cozy and comfy I am? Anything a tampon or pad can do, I can do so much better.
When to wear: On your heaviest days. Also great for postpartum and perimenopause.

Message from an Octopus: Hi. I wanted to send you a personal message of gratitude for being conscious enough to stop using disposable products. Imagine me now, shaking your hand eight times. That’s what I’m doing. And sending you good energy with my two hearts. Tampons and pads take generations to biodegrade, cause endless pollution and they are frankly stupid inventions - and I should know what stupid is because I have eight brains. Be proud of yourself - you’re making a big change.

Message from a Cheetah: Hi! You know me. You know how much I love to run. Running is the best thing in the universe. The only that ruins it is when you run past a decomposing tampon or pad. Man, that sucks. There are some things you can't unsee and that's one of them. But not for much longer! With incredible people like you, we're going to end all this ridiculous waste and make my runs fantastic again. Kudos.

And yes, I can be worn under leggings.

Message from an Oak Tree: Hellooo. I’m a 100 year old oak tree. I live near a landfill and 80 years ago, I saw a tampon get thrown away. Guess what? It’s still there! Still decomposing! I can’t believe it. All the pads and tampons that people have thrown away are all there. And it’s so gross! I used to look out at fields and meadows and woodland. And now I just see decomposing bad products that will taken another hundred years to degrade. I have to confess, I started to lose a little faith in humans. Then you came along. Just by wearing one pair of Period just once, you’ve stopped 2 pads or 4 tampons from being in my eye line. Thank you!

Flowing Is Knowing
Jade S., 2024Perfect
These are super comfy super stretchy and fit like regular undies. The material is wonderful and breathable. I went back and purchased more of these. Also love the high rise. They are also affordable which is another plus. Found my go to for daily period protection and would purchase more of these in the future.
Anne D., 2024FANTASTIC!
These Teen Period. Bikinis are such a success with my daughter. No fuss, no muss. Thank you for your safe, dependable products.
Annie, Nov 2021Empowering.
When my ten year old autistic child started her period, I had to help her with fitting a pad, checking to see whether it needed adjusting or change, etc. Meanwhile, she was stuck with a sensory nightmare in her pants. Period.co panties to the rescue! Now, my kiddo has the power to mange her changes herself. She loves how they fit, and while she has moments of flow that still cause sensory issues she is doing great. Being in charge of her own period has been extremely empowering for her. We are going to order another 4 for next month .. in the next size up. I am so grateful for the affordability, too.
Amanda G., 2023Amazing!
These are amazing! I've been trying to find the best period underwear for several years now, especially for us curvy girls, and these are IT. They are so comfortable and stretchy, the hold so much, and the coverage is perfect--in the front AND back! Excellent design, love them.
Beki M, Nov 2021I bought Period panties for my 18 year old, who is very happy to have them - no more leaks. However, I wanted to tell you about my 90 year old aunt: I sent her the Period Pads, to try out for incontinence. She had been using Depends and the like because that's all there was. She felt unclean wearing them and didn't like going out for any length of time. She is so thrilled with the pads! she said they don't feel "soggy" and she feels she has her dignity back. Dignity. That's something money can't buy. So, from my favorite Aunt to you, Thank you.
Sarah, October 2020I have struggled with period management for years and I have tried everything, except period panties. They were expensive and I just couldn’t bring myself to spend the money, but these… I was totally blown away. I have a very heavy period and they took it like it was nothing. Period. has changed the way I bleed. I cannot say enough about these panties. THANK YOU. Period. really has changed my life!
Fortune, November 2020My expectation was to put these underwear on while I was on my period, and live my life. And that’s exactly what happened. No worrying about having enough pads or tampons, no going to the bathroom constantly (even on my heaviest days), and not wondering if I had to wash the sheets in the morning. For the first time in my life since I got my period, I spent the week just living my life. The end. Thank you Period Company.
T.D., November 2020This makes me feel so happy and validated. When I told me doctor that I think tampons and my menstrual cup we’re making my cramps worst she looked at me like I was crazy… I just added it to the list of “pelvic pain that may or may not be all in my head” and kept using tampons on heavy days. So just even the fact that there are other people who experience this is a big realization. Also - my period underwear is literally the perfect size to hold a hot water bottle in place of my asshole uterus. Ahh I just love this and what you’re doing so much. Thank you for doing the work!!
Jenny, November 2020I’m 48 years old and don’t think that I’ve ever been excited to get my period (relieved maybe, but never excited). I couldn’t wait to try my new period panties this month. They totally live up to the hype! Comfortable fit, no leakage even on my heaviest days, and no waste. Thank you for developing this liberating product!
2. Go about your day.
3. Whenever you go to the bathroom, check to see how your underwear are doing. If you have a heavy day, you can help the underwear to absorb excess blood by doing a little toilet paper 'tap tap'.
4. When it feels like it's time to change, change, just like you would change a tampon or pad.
5. Wash the used pair or if you're not at home, wrap them up in a little bag and wash later.
6. Wear them again and again and again and again and again.
Our patent-pending four layer absorbency soaks up a full day of period blood. Our unique seam technology prevents leakage through the seams, and our top wicking layer keeps you dry.
Wear us instead of tampons and pads.
Or, wear us as a back up until you feel comfortable.
(although we won’t be second place for long!)
