
Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn will finally meet in the ring tonight for one of the most vicious rivalries in boxing.
30 years on from their fathers sharing one of the most compelling chapters in British sport, the sons will follow in their footsteps and carry on the family war.
Eubank Jr and Benn were originally set to meet in October 2022 until it emerged the latter had failed two drug tests just days out from the opening bell, forcing it to be scrapped.
The bitter rivalry has grown since, with a chaotic press conference illustrating the genuine resentment that has consumed both camps.
Security pulled the two men apart after Eubank Jr slapped his rival with an egg during their face-off with his father Nigel and promoter Eddie Hearn also in the thick of it.

Fans can expect the main event to get underway from 10pm onwards.
Tottenham’s home ground has previously hosted two huge nights of boxing – Tyson Fury’s win over Derek Chisora in December 2022 and the first meeting between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk in 2021. On both occasions, ringwalks for the main event began at around 10pm.

The weight limit for the fight has been a contentious issue since it was first discussed nearly four years ago. Benn boxes at welterweight (147lbs) with Eubank Jr operating two divisions higher at middleweight (160lbs).
