Jurgen Klopp’s agent has addressed the rumours that the former Liverpool manager could make a sensational return to the dugout with Real Madrid.
The German departed Anfield at the end of last season after nine incredible years, having won the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, two League Cups and Club World Cup.
Following his departure, Klopp suggested that his career as a coach was over, something that was further reinforced when he was appointed Head of Global Soccer for Red Bull.
But despite only starting the new job in January, there have been rumours that he is unhappy in the role and could be tempted back into management.
The reports said that the 57-year-old would consider taking the reins at Real Madrid or the Brazil national team, with Carlo Ancelotti expected to depart the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the season following Real’s embarrassing Champions League exit at the hands of Arsenal.

Real’s defence of their European crown came to an end on Wednesday night after the Gunners defeated them 2-1 in Spain and 5-1 on aggregate to advance to the semi-finals.
Ancelotti has long been linked with managing Brazil, with the South American giants poised to make yet another approach for the Italian, which could allow Klopp to move to Madrid.

Sky Germany say that there is ‘concrete interest and enquiries about Klopp from top clubs and several federations’, however his agent Marc Kosicke has looked to shut down all speculation.
‘Jurgen is very happy with his new role as Head of Global Soccer at Red Bull,’ he said and has no intention of returning to coaching next season.
Upon joining Red Bull, it was said that Klopp has an exit clause in his contract that would allow him to leave if approached for the Germany national team job.

While Klopp is high on their list, it is said that Real’s top managerial target is Xabi Alonso following his excellent work at Bayer Leverkusen where he achieved an invincible league and cup double in 2023/24.

The legendary Liverpool, Real and Bayern Munich midfielder was targeted by his former clubs last summer but opted to stay at Leverkusen who are set to finish second in the Bundesliga this season.
Andoni Iraola has also been heavily linked with the Spanish giants following an impressive campaign with AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League.
Should Klopp choose to make a surprise comeback, he could reunite with Liverpool and England defender Trent Alexander-Arnold who looks poised to join Real on a free transfer in the summer.
