I played around with Desktop and dock setting
I'm not sure whats causing my problems or if I have a virus in this macbook
but I can't reach some sites on the internet on this computer like the NYPOST etc. but other sites I can
but on my ipad which is cellular I can get those sites

And another thing my other tv in the other rood can't connect to the internet I tried 2 settings 2G and 5G networks neither takes the password

Do you have devices that are connecting to your router successfully?

The first place I'd be looking is in your router's firmware web interface. I'd be double checking the security settings for the wifi network (for the TV problem). Also, I'd look at the DNS settings to see if they're set to something unusual (for the MacBook browser issue).

There are other router settings that can block a device. Has the TV ever connected successfully to the router?

As to the MacBook…did you try multiple internet browser apps?
