Empathy 1.A - Cultural Competence | Lanier High School is a diverse community. Enhancing engagement and educating our staff and students is critical as we seek to increase our cultural competence. | Lanier High School will: - use survey data (Lanier-generated ML survey questions) as a baseline for professional development needs and teacher growth.

Equity 2.A - Multi-tiered System of Supports | LanierHigh School will implementa comprehensive framework to fully operationalize MTSS to address both academic and non-academic needs of students. | - LonghornTime will incorporate intervention programs with 9th-grade students identified as needing academic support (MAP testing results) and students in grades 10-12 who have academic deficiencies as demonstrated on district and classroom assessments.
- ThroughPBIS,theschool will implement restorativepracticesto incentivize positive behavior and decrease the number of student suspension incidents.
- The four core departments (LA, MA, SC, SS) will administer formative assessments. Course teams that teach end-of-course classes will use the student data to drive instructional practices, feedback, and reteaching.
- Classroom teachers will incorporate quality plus teaching strategies into daily lessons to enhance our core belief of activating, acquiring, and assessing.

- The Counseling Department will host the annual Lanier Cluster College and Career: StudentandParentEvent.
- The Counseling Department will host FAFSA night for seniors and their parents to assist with applying for financial aid.
