Snellville Middle is committed to providing each and every student instruction that meets his or her academic and non-academic needs by implementing a comprehensive framework that fully operationalizes a multi-tiered system of leveled supports.
1. Provide professional learning to teachers on effective Tier I & 2 instructional strategies.
2. Provide professional learning that focuses on strategies (PBIS, Community Circles) to support non-academic needs in the classroom.
3. MTSS team will meet regularly to ensure appropriate supports and interventions are identified and provided for students in a timely manner.
4. Use diagnostic data and AKS assessments to identify students for tiered academic or non-academic support.
