The table on this page lists all of the versions of the Unicode Standard. The version numbering and the role of each component are explained in About Versions of The Unicode Standard. When archived versions of blog posts or other announcements about a release are available, links to those are also provided in the Announcements column of the table. The Year column provides the year of record for each release. For more details about release dates and the distinction between data release dates and core specification or book publication dates, see History of Release and Publication Dates. Details of character counts for all Unicode versions can be found the Unicode Statistics page.
