The Mormon Archipelago

By: J. Stapley - January 25, 2005

As you may have noticed, there are some changes around. I’m very pleased to announce the birth of the Mormon Archipelago. I imagine that you are asking yourself, “What in the heck is that?” In order to continually add value to your blogging experience, a group of high quality blogs have joined forces in a Commonwealth, as it were. If you want to shop at Wal-Mart or Target, that is fine (I enjoy it myself on ocassion), but sometimes you need something more intimate and refined.

Besides the cool logo and grouped links, we are working on a consolidated RSS feeds for our Menus and for your syndicating pleasure. You can look forward to guest blogging, and wonders that have yet to be revealed to the children of men.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Archipelago contact Ronan at United Brethren; though I warn you, the price of entry is very high.

  1. Neat, I’ll have to edit my site to link to here.

  2. J,
I am currently a mormon living in an archipelago. Do I still have to join?

  3. J,
More seriously, I am wondering if I am already a member as a contributing blogger. What exactly does membership mean? What exactly does the archipelago do? There isn’t a site I can find for the archipelago, so is it sort of a brand name? Is it just Splendid Sun and United Brethren at this point?

  4. It is essentially a loose association of blogs. So, it is really blogs that are members, not individuals. The ways of the Archipelago are indeed mysterious…yet, as I mentioned, there are marketing and collaborative initiatives that are in the works. But these are just the initial fruits of the harvest…

I would check out Ronan’s post for further knowledge.
