Hacker's Memory follows the same pattern that the previous title had but at the same time going one step beyond. A great combat system, an interesting story and characters and mostly the great soundtrack, with a few new themes added, and also a better pace on completing side missions complete an amazing title in this franchise.
Digimon Story: Hacker's Memory is the more refined version of Cyber Sleuth with an engaging new story. For some, this could be a deterrence as not much as changed at all. The graphics, locations, and gameplay are exactly the same, but the same core gameplay hook is there with some much-needed improvements.

Tiene un menú muy intuitivo, la historia es bastante atrapante y los personajes son carismáticos y entrañables. La duración y dificultad son buenas y te deja con ganas de más.

PlayStation 4 It manages to improve upon the previous game, and thankfully fixes some of it's problems. Since you can import your save from the last game, you should probably check that out first - it will help give you a deeper understanding of the story too.
Despite some of the shortcomings I found in the narrative and its inability to simply impress when it came to the conclusion of most cases, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker’s Memory manages to hold its weight. It's saying something when compared to other RPGs in the fighting monster team genre. The true stars of the show are the digimon, as they indeed should be, and there’s enough zaniness in the rest of the game to keep you entertained throughout its long running time. There’s room for improvement, though, and should the developers choose to keep this side of Digimon series going, we could see something truly amazing in the future. As it stands now, Hacker’s Memory is not a bad way to hang out with some of my new favorite digital friends.
Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Hacker’s Memory will trigger plenty of fond memories of the franchise. Unfortunately, the game does not pack enough of its own punch to make them lasting.
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory is basically the same game as its predecessor. It features almost no improvements and seems to be created for PlayStation Vita, so the versions for PlayStation 4 feel like a missed opportunity.
A confusing product. It’s too complex and longwinded for kids, but too easy, repetitive, and derivative for most adults. The game was made with fans of the original Cyber Sleuth in mind, but will frustrate those same fans with its rampant rehashing. Hardcore Digimon devotes may find something to enjoy here, but most will want to forget Hacker's Memory.
This is the best Digimon game made so far. With a big roster of 341 playable digimon, a great and addictive storyline and new hacking mechanics and battles, this game is a must play for the fans on the anime, but also for the more casual fans who want to play something similar to the pokemon games

PlayStation 4 First time I agree with both user score and game journalists scores. I think the game is really good decent for a Digimon game. I enjoyed it a lot. If you are a Digimon fan and you liked the old Digimon DS games that's basically that only in 3D with nice graphics and a decent story. In my opinion this game is a 7,5/10 but because I can't give this score I will give it a 7/10 just so that you know.

PlayStation 4 I'd love to rank this game higher but there are way too many flaws. Visually all of the dungeons are extremely repetitive and the real world areas you can explore are static, pixellated and bland. The mission structure is poorly thought out. Sometimes you have to go to a place called the digilab to talk to a person who tells you to go to an area, then you talk to someone there, then you travel to another area and sign into your computer so you can accept a mission from that person, then you travel back to that area to meet that person again... it feels like a waste of time. The story and characters are ok but kind of generic and most of the key moments are predictable. The protagonist is particularly bland. There are also a couple of BS boss fights in the game too. What the game does really well is the digivolution system. There are a lot of digimon, primarily taken from the first three seasons. You can create a dream team and unlike pokemon you don't need to worry too much about having a balanced team. You can kind of just pick your favorites and level them up. The requirements for digivolving are annoying and it can feel like the game is wasting your time though, The combat system is pretty fun and the range of animations and special moves is very impressive. Also, to its credit it can be a fun game to just relax with and grind while you watch some tv. With a lot of jrpgs I get burnt out and don't finish them but this one kept me hooked for about 52 hours. If you can get it on sale for like 10 to 20 bucks and you're in the mood for a digimon turn based rpg then definitely go right ahead. It's not worth 60 bucks by a long stretch but if you can get it cheap it's pretty fun.

PlayStation 4 For the first hours of the game I was thinking I was in an interactive movie rather than playing a video game. There are so many cutscenes and all of them are padded out unnecessarily. I tried to stick with it but the weird design choices are the same choices in the previous game that made a simple cutscene arduous and monotonous. The gameplay is where the game shines, but unfortunately it takes too long to appreciate this. Most of the other content is just the same as the last game. Very lazy and not worth your time. I had mixed feelings about the last game and only negative ones about this.

PlayStation 4 The Cyber sleuth series has one of the most disempowering and nonsensical storylines of any JRPG, overly reliant on every character in the plot taking turns holding the idiot ball in order for key points to progress or happen in the first place. That does not change in the sequel. Heck, the start of the game is basically "I'll prove to everyone that I'm not a hacker by using these super hacker powers that were forced on me!". Just...think about that for more than a few seconds. What is worse is that this game might as well be an asset flip. Their own assets, sure, but most of this game's models is from the original Cyber Sleuth game. Even worse is that they will end up selling both games twice with no content added on when the inevitable PS4 release happens. These games getting acclaim is only going to make this greed and laziness more **** I guess if that's what people want, there's little a minority voice on the internet can do.
