I was diagnosed with insomnia when I was in my 20s. It's not like I couldn't sleep at all, but I could only sleep for about 4 hours a night. As someone who had to stay up late for work, the lack of sleep caused me to oversleep during the day. My blog will discuss how insomnia impacted me and what changes I made to finally get a good night's sleep again. I had been going through this insomnia cycle for a few years before I realized that it wasn’t normal and something needed to change. Finally, one day, my family convinced me that it would be worth going to see a doctor about my sleeplessness. It turns out that over time, lack of sleep can cause more serious health issues such as heart disease. It took me a long time to find a regimen that worked for me and I'm here to help you figure out how to fix and improve your sleep!
