It's the video we see every year – frantic customers piling into stores and battling for the Black Friday deals.

For Vitaly Pecharsky of Slickdeals.net that's the old way of doing things.

"More and more merchants are launching the deals earlier," Pecharsky said.

Slickdeals is a local website that specializes in compiling lists of all the best deals from the comfort of wherever you are.

Users vote each deal thumbs up or thumbs down and the best deals are presented on their home page.

Pecharsky says customers no longer have to wait for Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

"The deals are on," Pecharsky said. "Basically until a week before Christmas we're going to see a lot of sales and you'll see Black Friday 2.0 and Black Friday 3.0."

There are sales on everything from video games and accessoriesto camera equipment and almost anything you can think of.

Many Black Friday deals are already available online and Slickdeals presents them by your favorite store.

For them, this is their busiest time of the year.

"You get a lot of the TVs, you get a lot of the gaming consoles, you have your tablets, you have your laptops," Pecharsky said.

But shopping online does require patience. There's likely just as many or even more shoppers online than there are in store.

"It's not uncommon for somebody as big as Amazon to have issues and go down during the busiest times of the year when they release a giant item," Pecharsky said.

A quick trigger finger can be the difference from nailing that deal or missing it.

"We've seen deals go in 60 seconds," Pecharsky said. "You have to have your credit card ready, you have to have your shipping address ready and you have to go."

As a last resort, Pecharsky says if you miss the deal online you can still brave the stores and see if you can wrestle that deal away from the next shopper.
