The Internet Protocol Network Address Translation component is a kernel-mode driver that modifies and filters Internet Protocol (IP) packets. This component is required to use Internet Connection Sharing, Windows Firewall, Microsoft Routing and Remote Access Service (RRAS), and Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server (ISA) 2000.
